While Rogers has launched LTE in Ottawa and plans to launch it elsewhere soon, Bell has jumped in to the LTE game with three major regions. The cities include: Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, Toronto, Mississauga and Hamilton. In terms of devices launched, the story takes a sad turn here. The only devices available at this launch are the 4G LTE Sierra Wireless U313 Turbo Stick, which will cost you $79.95 on a 3-year contract or $219.95 off-contract and also $5 for the LTE SIM card; however there are no smartphones or tablets to put said SIM card in.
Bell says the LTE devices are coming and have provided a page where you can sign up to “stay up to date” on what they are launching.
The LTE coverage provided in all of these areas appear to be excellent, we should give Bell a round of applause here as this is actually great coverage. You can view the other coverage maps below or check out the source link.
